Infusion Therapy/Oncology

Infusion therapy is administered to treat chronic infections that do not respond to oral antibiotics. Pain caused by cancers of the gastrointestinal tract; dehydration caused by nausea, vomiting and diarrhea; and other serious diseases, such as Crohn's disease, Ulcerative Colitis, are typical examples. Additional complex illnesses that respond best to Infusion Therapy include: multiple sclerosis, some forms of arthritis, congestive heart failure, neuropathy, and some types of kidney diseases, and blood disorders.

Chron’s Disease is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract. Life Care Infusion works with your Specialty Physician to provide the right course of treatment to slow the progression of the disease. Rheumatic disease effects your joints, ligaments, muscles, and bones. Typically, as we age arthritis sets in in these areas causing significant pain and discomfort. Life Care Infusion can assist with the direction of your physician to reduce swelling of these areas by administering a sub-cutaneous injection (under-skin). Kidney Disease

Chronic Kidney Disease is the gradual loss of use of your kidney function. Your kidneys filter waste through your urine. Sometimes your kidneys can store excessive amounts of electrolytes and waste in your body. When your kidneys are not functioning or filtering properly, one may need dialysis. Some of the symptoms one may experience are: vomiting, fatigue, sleep problems, swelling of feet and ankles, high blood pressure (hypertension).
